Join host Benjamin Herman for European Jazz Stage — live jazz presented with the intensity and passion only a jazz artist could bring. This evergreen program will suit many programming strategies.

Availability
European Jazz Stage is available via Content Depot, PRX, satellite, RNW FTP server and on CD, and is FREE to registered stations. Each new series starts at the beginning of July with 13 weekly episodes of one hour. Current Season
European Jazz Stage is jazz on a global scale — this season features: Cuban pianist Chucho Valdes, Cameroonian bassist Etienne Mbappe, French accordionist Richard Galliano, American trumpeter Roy Hargrove, Dutch sax player Toon Roos, and so many more as they gather on the jazz stages of Europe. The series is also available in Spanish Language: Podio Europeo del Jazz.

Benjamin Herman
Benjamin Herman (alto saxophone, C-melody saxophone, flute) has been active in the professional club circuit since a very early age. He has been playing with various groups all over the world and setting up numerous projects of his own. Benjamin became known outside of jazz circles in the 1990s with his groundbreaking New Cool Collective.  He has played on more than 100 albums by a variety of artistes from Candy Dulfer to Pete Philly & Perquisite. Both the New Cool Collective and his jazz quartet play concerts strongly influenced by the type of jazz popular on the dance floor. Benjamin has been the host of European Jazz Stage since 2010.
